Municipal Health Benefit Program

MHBP

The League’s Municipal Health Benefit Program provides medical, dental and vision benefits to municipal officials and personnel. The advantage of being a part of the large group has enabled cities and towns over the years to maintain a relatively stable cost for this important fringe benefit for municipal officials and personnel in an era of soaring medical costs. Premium reports are processed by the League staff.

Other programs such as the municipal officials AD&D plan and life insurance and AD&D plans for both officials and personnel are available through the League at group rates.

Transparency in Coverage: Machine-Readable Files Repository

Access to Machine-Readable Files (MRF) provides consumers, employers, researchers and third-party developers with detailed pricing information for all covered items and negotiated rates among in-network providers and out-of-network claim data. This repository contains Machine Readable Files (MRF) for the Transparency in Coverage final rule. All machine-readable files must conform to a non-proprietary, open standards format that is platform independent and made available to the public without restrictions that would impede the re-use of that information.
